The blue Nevada PRB23 License Plate is produced as seen on the 1973 Corvette Stingray in the 1978 film Corvette Summer. Mark Hamill stars as Kenny Dantley, a high school senior building a Corvette as a class project. The finished car gets stolen, and Kenny hitchhikes to Las Vegas to recover it. In 1978, the state of Nevada produced license plates in this style that are debossed, rather than embossed like the rest of our plates. It can be difficult to tell from the images that all of the white parts of the plate are pressed inward, rather than raised.
